Congratulations to Maurizio Cimbali, President of Gruppo Cimbali, for being awarded the Order of Merit for Labour by Italian President, Sergio Mattarella.
The President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, presented Maurizio with the award on 1st June for his contributions to Italy's coffee machine manufacturing industry. Each year on this date, new Cavalieri del Lavoro, business men and women decorated with the Order of Merit for Labour, are awarded from a shortlist of 40 candidates. This year there were 25 recipients.
This recognition is a decoration for agricultural and industrial merit and serves as a medal of honour. The title credits the results obtained in the world of business, the creation of development and jobs, and for the commitment to ethical and social responsibility aimed at improving living and working conditions in Italy.
Maurizio was appointed as a councillor of Office Cimbali SPA in 1972 and was made President in 1984. In 1998 he became President of Cimbali SPA, which is now Gruppo Cimbali SPA.
