Frequently Asked Questions - Domestic Coffee Machine Servicing  

How long will my repair or maintenance take? 

Your domestic coffee machine will usually be returned to you completed in less than 10 business days, however we aim to have your machine returned to you well under that time frame. Some machines are far more complex to diagnose and parts may need to be sourced from overseas which can take more time. 

We also offer a PREMIUM fast track option, meaning your machine will be ready for pickup within 5 business days, at an additional $55.00 inc GST (Depending on part availabilities) 

Is Service Sphere an approved repairer? 

De’Longhi have authorised Service Sphere as a premium authorised for Delonghi Warranty & Out of Warranty repairs . We are also proud to be the leading repairer of domestic and commercial coffee machines & equipment in Australia. 

Do you have Service Technicians?

We have a fully dedicated Service Department, comprised of our technicians who are experienced in most domestic & commercial coffee equipment, backed by manufacturer training and delonghi helpline

How much will your service cost? 

We charge a $99.00 inc GST non-refundable diagnostic fee which will come off your total repair amount if you decide to proceed (We can sometimes spend up to 2 hours looking for an intermittent issue to determine the cause of the problem). 

The average spend for a service is between $150.00 to $330.00 inc GST as it can be difficult to determine issues without thoroughly inspecting the machine. Parts alone can be more than 50% of the cost. 

We have a standard repair budget of up to $330.00 inc GST

Do I need to book in? 

We are ready for customers at any time, our service department is well suited for walks-in, meaning we will start repairing your machine quickly with no booking required.

Where is Service Sphere? 

Service Sphere is located at 64 Sutton Street, North Melbourne 3051. Please come through Entry 1.

What are your trading ours? 

We are open Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm. We ask if you would arrive 30 minutes before closing times to allow us enough time to complete the booking in process.

Do you have a showroom? 

Yes, we have a showroom for both domestic & commercial machines, as well as all relevant coffee supplies. 

Our showroom stocks brands commercial equipment including Astoria , Casadio , ditting mahkloenig, ECM , Eureka, Eversys , LaCimbali, Mazzer, PUQ Press, Rancilio, Rheavendor Group & Rocket & our domestic offers Braun, De'Longhi, Kenwood, Braun, Saeco & Phillips 

Do you use Genuine Parts? 

At Service Sphere, we pride ourselves on using Genuine Spare replacement parts. Reason being they are rigorously tested and meet high quality safety & performance standards by the manufacturers; they also keep your machine within manufacturer’s warranty.
